Nights are exciting too in St.Anton and sometimes they begin in late afternoon. Après-ski can start when you are still on the mountain, in a pub or at an ice-bar slopeside.

Huts often have live music and dancing. But the traditional entertainments at hotels and bars in town, where 5 o'clock tea can still be found, are also fun.

Later a good dinner in a cosy guesthouse or first-class restaurant may set you up for the discos and bars. And there is so much to pack in that the long winter nights can sometimes seem too short.
