The Austrian ski resort of St Anton is
located on the world-famous Arlberg pass in the Austrian
province of Tirol. Heck you already new that didn't you?
We here are some facts that we got from the St Anton
Tourist Board page that we will bet that you didn't
know. Were you aware for example that there are a number
of tournaments slated for the coming winter? These will
appeal to skiers and non-skiers alike. For example there
is The St Anton Ski Open starting on November 28th for a
couple of days.
Then there is the tennis championships
held in December. The dates are the 10th to the 13th.
There is the Wiltner Boys Choir concert also in
December; the 18th to be exact. The ladies are not
forgotten though; with the popular "ladies first"
week starting January 10th and finishing on the 31st,
all kinds of pampering and special treatments will be on
tap. These events continue to the end of the ski season
near May with "The White Thrill" in April and the
Arlberg Ski Week just before that. The moral here, St
Anton Austria never rests. It is one of the best and
most active resorts in Europe. |
