In summer the Arlberg Austrian resort of St Anton turns
into nothing less than a hotspot for walkers, hikers,
tennis, squash and yes, golf. The course is a six hole
layout in Nassereein complete with driving range and on
hand pro to tune up your game. This is not to mention
the setting for mountain biking, paragliding, horse
riding and more.
There is also a glorious plus in St. Anton, one that will be found in many Austrian, no make that many alpine destinations. That dear viewer is the opportunity to do, er, absolutely nothing but to enjoy the calm surroundings and the fresh air.
Swimming is also a popular exercise and pastime, and, if we are properly informed, there are now two pools in St. Anton, one being the first in the area in Pettnau, just outside of St. Anton. Sound appealing?

Because St Anton am Arlberg is on the Euro City Train line, one can catch just about any train and it will deposit you just about 5 minutes from the village center. A big plus if a car is not part of your plan.
